In HRSimplified, employees can allocate their worked hours directly to a specific project task when checking out. This ensures that time is accurately logged against the correct project for tracking and billing purposes.
Steps for Allocating Time to a Project Task During Check-Out: #
1. Check Out from Your Dashboard #
Log in to your HRSimplified account. On the Dashboard, click the Check Out button at the end of your workday or task. This will open a modal prompting you to select where the time should be logged.
2. Select the Project #
In the check-out modal, you will see a drop-down menu labeled Project. From this menu, select the project you have been working on. Only projects assigned to you will appear in this list.
3. Choose the Specific Task #
Once a project is selected, a second drop-down labeled Task will appear. This drop-down lists all tasks associated with the selected project. Choose the task you were working on to allocate your time.
4. Add Optional Notes #
You may include additional notes in the Notes field. This allows you to provide context, such as the specific activity or issue encountered during the task.
5. Save and Complete Check-Out #
After selecting the project and task, click Save to finalize your check-out. The logged time will automatically be recorded and allocated to the selected project task.
Important Notes: #
- Make sure to select the correct project and task to ensure accurate billing and project tracking.
- If no project or task is selected, the system may default the time entry to general working hours, which could affect reporting.
- Time allocation can be reviewed and edited under My Time Sheets if corrections are necessary.
