Editing and Adding Feedback in Employee Performance Reviews

With HRSimplified’s latest feature, HR administrators can now edit performance reviews, add comments, and provide feedback directly in the system. These comments are automatically included in the downloadable PDF assessment, creating a comprehensive record of each review.

Updating or adjusting performance reviews are possible by HR executives and admins in HRSimplified.

How to Adjust a Performance Review and Add Feedback #

1. Access the Employee’s Performance Review #

  1. Navigate to HR Administration > All Employees.
  2. Select the employee whose performance review you want to edit.
  3. In the employee profile, go to the Performance Management section.

2. Open the Review for Editing #

  1. Locate the specific performance review in the Performance Reviews section.
  2. Click View next to the review you want to adjust. This opens the detailed view of the assessment.

3. Add or Edit Feedback #

  1. In the review details, you’ll see three main feedback sections:
    • Review: Shows any initial feedback provided during the review.
    • Employee Feedback: Displays comments submitted by the employee.
    • HR Feedback: This section is for HR-specific comments. Type in any additional comments or adjustments you’d like to make to the review.
  2. Enter or update your comments in the HR Feedback field to provide further insights or clarify assessment details.
  3. The Scores can also be adjusted at this time.

4. Save Changes to the Performance Review #

  1. Once your comments are added, click Adjust Performance Assessment to save the updates.
  2. These comments will now be part of the employee’s assessment and will be visible in the PDF version of the review.

Viewing the Updated PDF Assessment #

After saving your feedback, you can download a PDF of the performance review, which will include all comments from the Review, Employee Feedback, and HR Feedback sections. This comprehensive PDF can be used as a reference and kept on record for future performance evaluations.
