In HRSimplified, Long-Service Awards are automatically issued to recognize employees’ dedication over time. These awards are generated based on the length of service milestones, with badges awarded at 1, 3, 5, 10, 15, 25, and 30 years. This guide explains how the automated process works, where employees can view their badges, and how HR can access the awards in employee profiles.
How Long-Service Awards Are Issued #
Long-service awards are generated automatically by the system. When an employee reaches a service milestone (e.g., 1 year, 3 years, 5 years), the award is created and issued without any manual approval required from HR. This ensures timely recognition for employee loyalty.
Note: A one-time data migration was performed recently to issue long-service awards retroactively to employees already in the system, covering past milestones.
Where Employees Can View Their Awards #
Employees can see their long-service badges on their My Awards dashboard. This personalized dashboard displays all badges earned, including long-service awards, and shows cumulative points as part of their overall recognition profile. This visibility helps employees track their achievements and see how their service is acknowledged over time.
Where HR Can Access Long-Service Awards #
HR professionals can view each employee’s long-service awards in the employee profile under Performance Management > Awards. This tab provides a record of all awards the employee has received, including service milestones and other recognitions. The awards data here can be used during performance reviews or other recognition-related discussions.
