Overview #

HRSimplified allows managers to issue awards directly from a completed performance review. This feature enables seamless recognition of employee achievements immediately after an assessment is finalized.

Awards can only be issued when a performance review is in the “Review Completed” status. The award is assigned instantly with no additional approvals required.

How to Issue an Award from a Performance Review #

Step 1: Navigate to Performance Reviews #

  1. Go to Performance Management from the main menu.
  2. Click on Assessments.
  3. Find assessments with a status of “Review Completed”.

Step 2: Assign an Award #

  1. Locate the employee’s completed review and click the Actions button.
  2. Select Create Award from the dropdown menu.
  3. Choose the appropriate award from the pre-configured awards list.
  4. Once selected, the award is immediately assigned to the employee—no further steps are required.

Important Notes #

  • You Cannot Issue an Award to Yourself
    • The Create Award option is not available for your own performance reviews.
    • Awards must be assigned by another authorized manager or HR representative.
  • Instant Award Assignment
    • Once an award is issued, it is immediately granted to the employee with no additional approval required.
  • Awards Must Be Pre-Configured
    • Only awards that have been set up in the Awards Module can be assigned.
