HRSimplified now includes a powerful feature for managing HR incidents directly from the platform. Employees can log issues or requests, ensuring that HR or the HRSimplified support team can respond promptly.
Steps to Log an Incident: #
- Access the Incident Management Feature
On your dashboard, find the “Create Incident” button. This will open a modal where you can report an issue or query. - Choose an Incident Type
From the drop-down menu, select the appropriate incident type (e.g., Grievance, Salary Query, Overtime Query, etc.). You can see the full list of available types in the screenshot below: - Add Details and Attach Files
After selecting the type of incident, fill in the subject and details of the issue. You can also upload supporting images or documents, making it easier to provide context for your request. - Submit the Incident
Once you’ve entered the necessary details, hit the “Save” button to submit your incident.
Viewing and Tracking Your Incidents: #
Once an incident is submitted, you can track it in the My Incidents section of your employee portal:
- View Incident Details
In the “My Incidents” tab, you will see all the incidents you’ve logged, their status, and severity levels. You can also see the last update date and any feedback. - Communicate with HR via Feedback
Each incident has an Incident Feedback section where you and HR can exchange comments. This helps track the progress and keep communications clear. You can also view attachments that might have been added by HR.
HR’s Incident Management View: #
HR professionals can manage all submitted incidents through the HR Administration > Incident Management menu. This interface allows them to view incidents, update their status, and communicate with employees as needed.
Key Features: #
- Support for Attachments: Employees can upload images and documents when logging incidents for better clarity.
- Incident Feedback: Both HR and the employee can leave comments and updates in the feedback section of each incident.
- Tracking and Transparency: Employees can always monitor the status of their incidents, making the process transparent.
Incident Reporting for HR #
In addition to logging and managing incidents, HR has access to detailed reporting on all incidents through the HR Administration section.
Steps to Access Incident Reports:
- Navigate to HR Administration > Reports.
- In the Reports section, find Incident Reports.
- Select the date range for which you want to view the incidents.
- The report will display a list of all logged incidents, including their status, severity, and creation/modification dates.
- You can export or download the report for further analysis.
This reporting functionality enhances HR’s ability to track, analyze, and manage incidents over time, improving accountability and response times.
