2 min read

HRSimplified allows employees to request additional training through the platform. These requests are logged on their employee profile, where HR can review, approve, or deny them. This guide will walk through how to submit a training request and how HR can manage these requests.

Steps for Employees to Submit Training Requests: #

1. Access the My Training Tab #

  • Employees can navigate to the My Training tab in their dashboard.
  • Here, they can view assigned or recommended courses and find the option to Request New Training.

2. Submit a New Training Request #

  • Click on Request New Training.
  • Fill in the request form, which includes the following details:
    • Training Course Name: Specify the course or type of training you are requesting.
    • Motivation: Provide a reason for the request, explaining why this training would benefit your current role or development.
  • Submit the request, which will then be forwarded to HR for review.

Managing Training Requests as HR: #

1. Review Training Requests #

  • HR can view submitted training requests by navigating to the Training section and clicking on Training Management.
  • A list of all training requests will be displayed, along with the motivation provided by each employee.

2. Approve or Deny Requests #

  • HR can approve or deny the training request based on its relevance and budget availability.
  • If approved, HR can allocate the requested training course to the employee under the My Training section.

3. Track Approved Training #

  • Once a training request is approved, the course will appear under the employee’s My Training tab.
  • HR can monitor progress by checking when the employee completes the course and uploads their certificate.

Important Notes: #

  1. Tracking Requests: All training requests are logged in the employee’s profile for future reference, making it easy for HR to track development initiatives.
  2. Training Recommendations: HR can also recommend training based on performance reviews or specific skill gaps, which employees may not be aware of.
  3. Approval Process: HR’s ability to approve or deny requests ensures that training aligns with company goals and budget constraints.

Conclusion: #

The Training Requests feature in HRSimplified allows employees to take ownership of their development by requesting additional courses. HR can manage these requests efficiently and ensure that employees receive the training they need.
