Submitting Claims (Expense or Overtime) in HRSimplified (ESS)

In HRSimplified, employees can submit either Expense Claims or Overtime Claims through the Employee Self Service (ESS) portal. Follow these steps to submit and track your claim.

Steps to Submit an Expense or Overtime Claim: #

1. Navigate to the My Claims Section #

Log in to HRSimplified, and from the left-hand menu, go to My Claims under the Dashboard. This section lists all your submitted claims and their current status.

2. Click “Submit Claim” #

On the My Claims page, click the Submit Claim button to create a new claim.

3. Select the Type of Claim #

In the claim submission modal, select Type of Claim from the drop-down:

  • Expense – For expenses incurred (e.g., travel, meals).
  • Overtime – For overtime hours worked.

4. Enter the Relevant Details #

Depending on the claim type selected, you will be prompted to fill in different information:

  • For Expense Claims, enter the Claim Amount (total value of the expense).
  • For Overtime Claims, enter the Total Hours worked.

Also, specify:

  • Start Date and End Date: The date range for the expense or overtime.
  • Claim Note: Optionally, provide any additional information or context.

5. Attach Supporting Documents #

For Expense Claims, ensure to attach supporting receipts or documentation. Click Select File(s) to upload your receipts. You can upload up to five files.

6. Submit the Claim #

After filling in all required fields and attaching any necessary files, click Save to submit the claim for approval.


Tracking Your Claim: #

  • You can track the status of your claim under My Finances. Claims will appear as Pending, Approved, Processed or Rejected.
  • You will be notified once your manager approves or rejects the claim.

Important Notes: #

  • Ensure to attach all relevant documents for expense claims to avoid delays.
  • Managers may request additional documentation or clarification before approval.
