HRSimplified now offers seamless integration with GreatSoft Payroll, making it easier to manage employee data, leave balances, and payroll information across both platforms. Below is a detailed guide to help you understand and utilize this integration.
Step 1: Setting Up Integration #
- Navigate to GreatSoft Payroll > Integration in HRSimplified.
- Input the following required details:
- Username
- Password
- Payroll Code
- Payroll GUID
- User GUID
Step 2: Configure Mappings #
Mappings are crucial for aligning data from GreatSoft Payroll with HRSimplified. This includes Payroll Company, Departments, Branches, Employee Types, Leave Types, and other attributes.
- Navigate to GreatSoft Payroll > Mapping.
- Pull data from GreatSoft Payroll and map it to corresponding elements in HRSimplified.
- For Leave Types, only map primary leave types from GreatSoft. Avoid mapping secondary types to prevent incorrect leave balances caused by summing issues on the GreatSoft side.
- Save mappings to finalize the configuration.
Step 3: Data Sync Options #
Once the integration and mappings are set up, you can use the following synchronization options:
1. Push Employees to GreatSoft Payroll #
- This allows you to create or update employee records on GreatSoft directly from HRSimplified.
- Employee data is kept consistent across platforms, reducing duplication and errors.
2. Sync Leave Balances #
- Approved leave applications in HRSimplified are automatically synced to GreatSoft Payroll.
- If an issue occurs during syncing, use the Push HrSim Leave Balances menu item to manually sync pending leave balances.
3. Pull Employees from GreatSoft #
- Fetch the full employee list from GreatSoft and display it in HRSimplified.
- Select individual employees or bulk import all employees into HRSimplified.
- The system tries to auto-map managers if they exist in GreatSoft. For unmapped managers, you’ll have the option to map them manually or default them to the current user performing the pull.
Best Practices #
- Ensure that leave types in GreatSoft are set up accurately before mapping to avoid data discrepancies.
- Regularly check sync logs to confirm all data is syncing correctly.
- Use the manual sync options when discrepancies arise.
This integration simplifies payroll management by automating data synchronization, minimizing manual intervention, and improving HR efficiency.
