In HRSimplified, employees can manually book time to track tasks, ensuring accurate time management for projects. This guide provides a step-by-step process on how to book time in the system.
Steps to Book Time: #
1. Navigate to the “My Time” Section #
Log in to your HRSimplified account and go to My Time from the Dashboard on the left-hand menu. This section allows you to manage your timesheets and track your time.
2. Click on “Book Time” #
At the top of the My Time page, click on the Book Time tab. This option lets you manually log time against specific tasks.
3. Enter Task Start and End Time #
A time booking form will appear. Select the Task Start and Task End times using the calendar widget. Ensure the times accurately reflect when the task was performed.
4. Choose the Relevant Project and Task #
From the drop-down menu, select the project you are working on. After selecting the project, choose the associated task you’re booking time for.
5. Add Task Notes #
Use the Notes field to provide any necessary context or details regarding the task performed. This is particularly helpful for managers reviewing the task progress.
6. Save the Time Entry #
Once all details are entered, click Save. The system will then log the time, linking it to the project and task for reporting and tracking purposes.
Important Notes: #
- Time logged is automatically reflected in project management and reporting tools.
- If you make an error in logging time, you can return to the My Time Sheets section to edit or delete the entry.
- All time entries are subject to approval by your manager, so ensure your logs are accurate before submission.
