HRSimplified makes it easy to reuse survey templates, streamlining the survey creation process and ensuring consistency across multiple survey assignments. Whether you’ve created a custom survey or used one of the system’s preloaded templates, you can save and reuse templates whenever needed. This guide covers how to manage and reuse saved templates for future assignments.
Steps to Reuse Survey Templates: #
1. Navigate to the Survey Management Section #
- Log in to HRSimplified and select Survey Management from the main menu.
- In this section, you’ll find a list of all saved survey templates, both custom and preloaded.
2. Select the Template to Reuse #
- Choose the survey template you wish to reuse from the list.
- You can either:
- Use the template as-is: Assign it directly to employees without any changes.
- Edit the template: Modify any of the questions, survey settings, or anonymity preferences before assigning it again.
3. Assign the Survey #
- Once you’ve selected or edited the template, follow the same steps as outlined in the Assigning Surveys to Employees guide to send the survey to the appropriate employees or groups.
Editing and Customizing Saved Templates: #
1. Modifying the Template #
- If you want to update a saved template, you can open the template for editing. Here, you can:
- Add or remove questions.
- Adjust the question types (e.g., change a free text question to multiple choice).
- Toggle between anonymous or named survey settings.
- After making changes, you can either save these changes to the existing template or create a new version of the template by saving it under a new name.
2. Creating New Templates from Preloaded Ones #
- HRSimplified’s preloaded templates (e.g., wellness checks, exit interviews) can be reused and customized. You can modify any preloaded template and save it as a new custom template for future use.
Important Notes: #
- Template Consistency: Reusing saved templates ensures consistency across surveys, particularly when gathering regular feedback like employee well-being assessments or Health & Safety checks.
- Version Control: When editing a template, you can either overwrite the existing version or save it as a new template to preserve the original format.
