HRSimplified’s Employee Self Service (ESS) module empowers employees to manage key HR activities like leave applications, expense claims, document management, performance reviews, and more. Below is a quick guide to help employees navigate the ESS features with ease.

Key Features in ESS: #

1. Leave Management #

Employees can apply for leave, view their leave balances, and track the status of requests.

  • How to apply for leave:
    Go to My Leave under the Dashboard. Select Apply for Leave, choose the leave type, and submit.

2. Expense Claims #

Submit expense claims, attach receipts, and track approval status.

  • How to submit an expense claim:
    Navigate to My Expenses, click Submit Claim, fill in the details, and attach receipts.

3. Document Management (My Documents) #

View, download, or upload important HR documents. Employees can also sign documents directly.

  • How to manage documents:
    Go to My Documents in the Dashboard to upload or download files.

4. Performance Reviews #

Complete performance self-assessments and view manager feedback and peer reviews.

  • How to complete a self-assessment:
    Go to My Performance, click on Self Assessment, and submit your review.

5. Training & Development #

View assigned training, submit training requests, and upload certifications.

  • How to view training progress:
    Navigate to My Training, where you can view ongoing and completed training programs.

6. Time & Attendance #

Track your working hours, check in/out, and view timesheets.

  • How to check in/out:
    Click Check In or Check Out from the Dashboard. All your time entries will be reflected in your My Time Sheets section.

7. Survey Participation #

Complete any assigned surveys and view your responses.

  • How to complete a survey:
    Go to My Surveys, select the survey, and submit your answers.

8. HR Incident Reporting #

Log HR-related incidents, grievances, or concerns, and track the status.

  • How to submit a grievance or incident:
    Navigate to HR Incidents, select Report an Incident, and fill in the required details.
