In HRSimplified, asset managers can efficiently approve orders submitted by employees and automatically convert those requests into assets. This guide explains how to approve orders and create assets from them in a seamless process.
Steps to Approve an Order: #
1. Navigate to the Orders Submitted Section #
- Log in to your HRSimplified account and go to HR Administration > Asset Management.
- Under Orders, select Orders Submitted to view pending employee requests for parts or accessories.
2. Assign the Order to an Asset Manager #
- Locate the order and use the Assign To drop-down to select the appropriate asset manager with the Asset Manager role.
- The assigned asset manager will be responsible for reviewing and processing the request.
3. Process the Order #
- Once assigned, click the Process Selected Orders button at the top of the page.
- This action moves the order to the Orders Approved section.
4. Create an Asset from the Approved Order #
- In the Orders Approved section, click the Actions button next to the approved order.
- Select Create Asset from the menu.
- A shortcut modal will appear, allowing the asset manager to complete the required fields for the new asset (e.g., asset type, serial number, purchase date).
- Once created, the asset will automatically be allocated to the employee who made the original request.
