Submitting a Timesheet for Approval

In HRSimplified, employees can submit their timesheets for managerial approval. This feature ensures that all logged time is reviewed and approved, making it ready for payroll processing or project billing.

Steps to Submit a Timesheet: #

1. Navigate to “My Time Sheets” #

Log in to your HRSimplified account. From the left-hand menu, click on My Time. Under this section, select the My Time Sheets tab, where all your logged time entries will be displayed.

2. Review Your Time Entries #

Before submitting, review your timesheet to ensure all entries are correct. Verify the time you’ve logged for each task or project, ensuring that any billable hours are correctly marked.

3. Select Entries to Submit #

Next to each time entry, you will see a checkbox labeled Submit. Select the checkbox next to each time entry that you want to submit for approval.

4. Submit for Approval #

Once you’ve selected all the entries you wish to submit, click the Submit All Tasks for Approval button at the top of the page. This will send your timesheet entries to your manager for approval.

5. Confirmation of Submission #

After submission, a confirmation message will appear indicating that your timesheet has been sent for approval. You can also track the approval status under the My Time section.


Important Notes: #

  • Ensure that your time entries are accurate and properly allocated before submitting.
  • Once submitted, your manager will review and either approve or reject the entries.
  • If any entries are rejected, they will be returned to you for editing and re-submission.
