Approving Time for Your Team

In HRSimplified, managers can review and approve the time logged by their team members. This ensures that all time entries are accurate and ready for payroll processing or project billing.

Steps to Approve Time for Your Team: #

1. Navigate to “Time Approvals” #

Log in to HRSimplified, and from the Dashboard, select Time Approvals from the left-hand menu. This section displays all the time entries submitted by your team members for review.

2. Select a Team Member #

You will see a list of your team members who have submitted time entries for approval. Click on a team member’s name to view the details of their submitted time entries.

3. Review Time Entries #

For each time entry, review the project, task, start and end times, and any notes added by the employee. You can also check if any time is marked as billable.

4. Approve or Reject Time Entries #

Next to each time entry, you will find Approve and Reject buttons:

  • Click Approve to confirm the time entry.
  • Click Reject if the entry is incorrect or needs to be modified. You can also provide feedback or reasons for rejection in the comments section.

5. Finalize Time Approvals #

After reviewing all the time entries, you can click the Approve All button at the top to approve all selected entries at once. The approved entries will be ready for payroll or billing.


Important Notes: #

  • Managers can approve or reject time entries individually or in bulk for efficiency.
  • Rejected entries are sent back to the employee for corrections, and they can resubmit once adjustments are made.
  • Approved time entries are locked and cannot be edited without manager intervention.
